Bed of Roses

Everything with B.E. is bed of roses these days..after last week's hiccup we are back to normal..infact i must say better..i did a few stupid things whcih i realise now..i always kept thinkin kahin kuch zayda toh nahin bol raha hoon mein..i should hold back..aur phir wohi hus jiska mujhe darr tha..and she said wht she had to..it felt like something crashed on my head..something hit me :)) and i wrote to B.E. what i was thinking..and what all i made of the entire one month..and B.E. didnt liked it..obviously..no one would..what all i wrote..no one would like it..i was thinking of making it more worse..but i didn't..i thank my stars :)) but now everything is clear..its fun...and im trying to tone down...kam bolna..but u kno wat...its so bloody tuf..i cant do it.. :)) and i dont want to also..after all 4 days ke zindgi hai.. wat say B.E.?? am i right na :)

Everyone is there to contribute for fun, treats, but wen it comes to work everyone does there bit but no one is ready to take an extra step..why? everyone wants to run away..are we in some charity or what? is everything allright..

Evolution

my team members are evolving with each passing day...we take anytihng and create a double meaning out of it..infact double meaning is chotu word..we make triple, quadruple, penta meanings out of it...our discussion topics range from anything to sextrology to "if men can be raped?" to condoms to honeymoons/pre honeymoon, pubetry, fertiliy age, reproducing, pen and ink, hindi abuses (all MC, BC, C, BetiC)...god..if any stranger comes to our bay they run away with embarassment..some jus simply ignore or us or they will look at the monitor and pretend as if they dont kno anything..and some jus simply ignore..i wonder wht the ppl in other bay think of us wen they hear what we all we talk...jus the other day i was in bay 28 and i could hear mr. nitin's laughter..which can be heard across the floor..things are very different from the days of rich n barkhs..those were very innocent days but now its like anything goes..jus like a WWE Hardore Extreme Wrestling match...anything from anywhere.. :)) but its fun..and every morning we have a visitor who comes to burn calories..she is preethi paul..
also i mus mention that SAM is the center point of most of the discussion..im sure ull agree SAM :))

Wow..it seems like yesterday...17th Oct, 2002..My first day at GE..it was my NHO..everything seems so exciting..there was less traffic coming home..road was narrow..there was less buildings..infact jus ship building and DLF square..2 days at NHO..getting mixed with call center crowd..coz no one knew whatz elearnin then..even now very few know.. :)) then on 21st i started actual work..there came monica kumar..are u the new GD and i said yes..chalo jaldi bahut kaam hai like it happens most of the time with new joinees..mjor rush and no download..and with it started my days at ge/gecis/genpact..and haven't looked back since then..every day has been brining good things to life..imagination at work..a dawn of the new day..every day has been proud and every day has created a business impact.. :)) its been fun..new jargons, acronyms..COPIS, SIPOC, GB, SPOC, WBR, TCON and what not..six sigma, GB, BB, LEAN..GD Forum, Design forum, endless meetings, initiatives, coomunications skills, team lead, project lead, APM, PM, AVP, AFM, FM, Design Architect..just the other day i heard this new one..Technolody Analyst :)) ZD, First pass, SODA :)) STAR RATING, RnR, Townhall, Fundoo Friday, FUnky Hours, Grind Break..QES, EMS, DAP, SKILL INDEX..a lot has changed..difernet team names..GEMS, GEHC, Xcelerators, Incredibles, TnX :)) ..the company name..building, transport, food, cafeteria, barrista is still the same though..kind of work we do..we do more ne stuff then wht we used to do 4 years back..elearning has shrunk..so many have gone (this year it has been the highest), old folks are still there (Shravan, Charu, SHyam, Preeta, Anjali)..each year i have grown not only in age but professionally..i have learnt so much..the greatest thing about this place is people and the trainings and also you come across so many different people and u learn so much from them..u exchange ideas..share jokes..sorrows...there is so much i can write..this place has give me my best buddy in preety and gr8 friends in rich, chubs, jold, ridz, barkhs..and other pals..dushti, nitin, dj, shravan, sam, preethi..
i have won awards, best lean projects, functional star, quizes, antakshri..
have tried different cuisines..watched n number of movies..
arguments..fights..
and my best year of the last 4 years has been 2006 when i met..umm..mmm..mmm.. ;)) actually this has been the best year in many other ways..i have matured :)) i talk sense :)) i am not negative or cynical anymore :)) i am a project lead, i organised the best townhall, i don fight for QESs score anymore..though this has been the year which has been most unstable for others and the organisation..so many movements..so many changes..so many resignations..now these things don make any difernece..i have become immune..coz i have good things to keep me busy :)))

i don kno if ill be still around at the end of 5th year..would love to..i don kno..may be..may be not.. :)) but this has been the best 4 years.. :)) it feels great
