PUSH n PULL

Apart from other BIGGEST Truths of life like “change is the only constant of life” etc. there is another one that I realized today..ie PUSH n PULL :-) To get a ticket for ride on metro u need to a lil push n pull..n then to get into the train u need to do lil push n pull..then to get out of the train u need to do a lil push n pull…then the biggest of all..bhagwan ke darshan takes the cake..today I went to hanuman mandir in CP and to get to the point of darshan..had to do lot of pushin n pullin n getting crushed..all this for a small tikka on my forehead..i got nothing to see..huh..it was really tuf..isliye I say bhagwan to mann mein rehta hai mandir jane ke zarorat nahin hai.. :-)

Apart from the above mentione PUSH n PULLs there are others like u do a lot of pushin n pullin at workplace to get your work done, makin people happy, makin them sad..

Also love also involves lot pushin n pullin ;) ;)

So PUSH n PULL are truth of life..there are here to stay life long

Welcome 2006

31^st December the new section of the metro open for public in delhi. So we decided to go for a joy ride on 31^st nite. Went to rajouri garden. And to our surprise there is a new mall that has come up jus next to the station. You enter the mall as exit the station. It reminded me of Singapore where station exit takes you to the mall. :-) Feels like we are on the right track of progress. Though its late but still..its good to see things happening in Delhi, India. :-)

1^st Jan, 2006 - Had a good start to the new year. Went on to metro again and this time to CP. With the number of people on most station it seemed that suddenly the entire delhi is come out for picnic. CP station has the most number of people. From there went to Hanuman mandir for some bahgawan darshan amongst all pushin n getting crushed in the crowd. From there went to chawri bazaar (old delhi). And its amazing to see the difference between the world unerground and the world over it. Chawari Bazar station is an underground metro station and the platforms are three level down. So to catch the train the only way goin down is through 3 escalators. It feels all so modern and surprising. But as you come out of the station it’s a completely alien world of OLD delhi. Small crowded dirty rickshaw’ed streets, entangled electricity wires, urdu n hindi hoardings, small shops, smell of desi ghee etc. etc. Don’t know what to call alien; the world under or the world above. Another interesting thing about chawari bazaar station is that as you get out of it there is a ASHOK chat wala on the left and there is ASHOK chat wala on the right. :-) I went to the right one and his chat was deadly because they were too spice. Then in the small lane I was able to find out a tikki wala. Good tikki he made n pao bhaji too :-) I recommend that anyone wants to try chat pappri of OLD delhi then take the metro to chawari bazaar n get in the lane of the ASHOK chat wala on the left. :-)

YEAR 2005

Work - Year 2005 was very happening year for me..Professionally it was exceptional..with my promotion, awards, ratings etc etc. Though at the end of the year it all seem to be screwing up by the thghts of some people about me..which did surprised me a bit..but at the same time I came out creating a level trust amongst those people..(but then does it really matter, yes it does..) .

Friends - At personal level made some real good friends in Rich, Jold, n Barkhs. They have been great to work with n loads of fun too. And my friendship with my best buddy grew stronger with each passing day.

Love - As far as girlfriend or love is concerned nothing happened..though I fell in love many times but since the fall was so deep I got lost to realize who the girl is :):). But this helped me goin for coffee breaks n lunch wit my buddies and spending more money on myself. Also im under pressure of getting married by end of this year..initially it wasn’t that stronger but after my promotion its has picked up pace.. :|

Reading novels - I started reading novels too..I read Harry Potter – Part one, Mashi by Rabindra Nath Tagore and Five point something which I must say is the best book I have read so far. Its hilarious and very real..actually it is coz it’s a true story of the author about the time he spent at IIT campus.

Coffee - Second part of the year I made cappuccino part of my staple diet..daily one cup of it became a must. By the end of the year I wanted to stop havin it..but couldn’t and im still trying…

Cuisines – 2005 I tried different cuisines along with regular Indian varities. I tried Mexican n Italian (Hardcore). Mind u..all veg stuff. :) And I think Mexican is the best coz it tastes more Indian and also because there is a restaurant in GGN called Sweet Obsession. It makes the best Mexican (that’s the only place I have had Mexican). Next I wanna try THAI.

Movies – I saw lot of movies this year..middle of the year I was watchin movie every week..coz that was the time best movies came out..my best for the year..BLACK, SARKAR, and NO ENTRY. I liked Bunty n Bubli for the Kajrare song and Aishwarya Rai in it. :)

DOUBLE MEANING – Me, sam, n rich had formed a group and we use to sing all the cheap songs from hindi movies. Though the best came from a bhojpuri movie..”Raat bhar nimbu nichode sanya hamar..” and some people reacted to it by sayin..zaroor juice wala hoga.. @). Plus most of the thing said in my bay has to have a double meaning..like..zhadu said…” chal sam hum balls chura ke lain..i need two balls” HA HA..what she actually meant was that she needed glittery decoration balls for xmas tree :):)

FIRST TIME – first time I saw a play..1947..by amir raza hussain…it was an open theater. The play was on independence struggle but it lacked the impact it should have had. There were lot of cosmetic things attached to it like..revolving stage, lighting effects..but it didn’t lived upto the expectations..First time I saw a rock concert and saif ali khan live too.. :) and he was far better with his guitar performance then so called professional roock bands

Also for first time I got on to acting (small time) I did a role of underworld bhai in a skit on Corporatization of Underworld with their use of six sigma n lean n all..(party written by me) It was good fun n everyone appreciated it my role and were surprise to see me act. :)
