Today we had a birthday party in office...actually it wasnt a birthday party but it had all the ingredients of a birthday party...baloons, cakes, sandwiches, whistels, confetti, song n dance..the ocassion was rollout of some skill enhancement and functional programs for the various skill sets at my wrkplace..also the introduction of the new VP..it was supposed to be a serious affair..but few ppl have the habit of showin off the hidden and not so hidden talents of the resouces on the floor.. :))
not so happenin dance number..not so happenin host..not so happenin presenter..the only thing tht was happenin was the sound of the whistles that were given to all to blow all the wind away from their lungs..everyone was in full form when it came to blowing whistles..
the VP cam all decked up..in formals..with tie n office formals..but we all were told to wear jean n white shirt..tht too on a thursday... :)) all the rules gone for a toss..then the VP was told to burst 3 big baloons..bursting of baloons..to mark the launch of 3 programs.. :)))..this is one of the not so hidden talent on display...VP asked ..do these baloons have candys :)) .."no" came he reply..to his dissapointment..
the launch was more exciting..there was a powerpoint..which had details of the programs...n if u blinked..u missed all the slides..the launch was so quick..and all of this was shared wit us earlier also..
i njoyed whistlin..n lukin at everyone..with a big Q? on their faces."excuse me..wht was this all abt?"
